We invite artists and photographers worldwide to participate in "Eros", an international open call dedicated to exploring love in all its forms through the unique lens of instant photography. From passion to tenderness, from longing to presence, this exhibition seeks to capture the raw intimacy and vulnerability that only Polaroid can reveal.

Curated by Dora Lavazou and coordinated internationally by Eleftheria Giannopoulou, the selected works will be presented at iFocus Photo Gallery in Athens as well as at a collaborating international venue.

This is an invitation to celebrate immediacy, truth, and emotional depth. Share your vision of love, contribute to a collective dialogue on intimacy, and become part of a global community of instant image-makers.

Terms and Conditions


Article 1: Announcement and Secretariat

The exhibition is organized by iFocus Photo Gallery and Magazine.

The selection of artists will be conducted by Dora Lavazou (iFocus Photo Gallery)

The coordinator for international artists is Eleftheria Giannopoulou (@ritasklik).

Article 2: Duration

The exhibition will be held from Friday, February 13 , 2026, to Monday February 16, 2026 at iFocus Photo Gallery, Akadimias 57 and Ipokratous 13, 10679 Athens.

Article 3: Participants

The artists will be selected at the discretion of the curator.
Participation is open to all.

Article 4: Theme and Conditions

The theme of the exhibition is EROS

* Participants can submit up to  FIVE (5) Polaroids.

* Only one (1) will be selected, printed in 38x48 cm dimensions, and framed in a 40x60 cm frame.


* Only works created with instant film from Impossible, Polaroid Originals, or Polaroid will be accepted. Allowed formats: SX-70, 600, I-Type.


* Copies or digitally processed images are not permitted.

Important Dates

* Artist selection announcement: December 13 , 2025


Once selected, participants will receive a confirmation email specifying which photo has been chosen. The selected photo must then be submitted in 300 dpi resolution via:

* Email (email address to be provided upon selection)


Email Format

The subject line must include: "Name and Surname."
The email body must include:

* Author’s full name, address, email, and phone number


* Instagram handle (if applicable)

* Website page


By participating, you agree that your images may be used for the exhibition catalog, online and print publications, and promotional materials (with proper author credits).

Selling Work at the Exhibition

"Selected exhibitors will have the opportunity to sell their original works, prints, books, or other Polaroid-related creations during the exhibition. The gallery does not claim any rights or commissions on sales. If an artist wishes to sell their original Polaroids (excluding the one exhibited), the minimum sale price is fixed at €35 for all artists. Artists may also reproduce and sell additional prints of their exhibited work, with the standard sale price minimum 80 euros per print for everyone." The artists can preorder the number of prints that they wish for the exhibited Polaroid and they have to inform iFocus and Ritasklik for the number of prints they wish to reproduce. The cost of each print is 40 euros plus Vat and the artist has to do the payment in a bank account of the printing company. More details will be given after his selection

Article 5: Registration Methods and Costs

The registration fee is €160 included Vat applicable only to selected artists.

Payment Details

* Payments must be made bank account to iFocus Photo Gallery until 20/12/2025.

* When the artist completes the payment iFocus will issue an invoice and each artist has to give tax ID number either personal or business. An analytical email will be send explaining the details.

What the Registration Fee Includes:

* Administrative fees


* One (1) print of the selected photo


* Framing and installation of the selected work (40x60 cm panel)


* Assembly of works


* Packaging and shipping the print back to the artist (Contact person Eleftheria Giannopoulou)

All selected exhibitors will automatically be eligible for the Talent Prize 2026.

The talent Prize will have one pack of 5 Polaroid films 600

An exclusive interview to iFocus online magazine

His photo will be included to the next year exhibition.

During the exhibition will have a series of workshops, various events and interaction with the public, the program will be announced after selection.
