The Greek online Magazine for photographers iFocus.gr is pleased to announce an International Contest for Polaroid lovers. Amateurs and professionals will have the opportunity to exhibit their Polaroids from March 28th to April 2nd at the iFocus Photo Gallery in the center of Athens .
The selected polaroids will be showcased in Instant International Photo Festival in Athens as part of a group exhibition entitled
“The Beauty of Imperfection”

Terms and Conditions
CALL FOR ARTISTS 2025
Article 1: Announcement and Secretariat
The exhibition is organized by iFocus Photo Gallery & Magazine.
The coordinator for international artists is Eleftheria Giannopoulou (@ritasklik).
The selection of artists will be curated by Dora Lavazou (iFocus Photo Gallery).
Article 2: Duration
The exhibition will be held from Friday, March 28, 2025, to Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at iFocus Photo Gallery, Akadimias 57 and Ippokratous 13, 10679 Athens.
Article 3: Participants
The artists will be selected at the discretion of the curator and coordinator.
Participation is open to all.
Article 4: Theme and Conditions
The theme of the exhibition is “The Beauty of Imperfection” .
* Participants can submit five (5) Polaroids. Only one (1) will be selected, printed in 38x48 cm dimensions, and framed in a 40x60 cm frame.
* Only works created with instant film from Impossible, Polaroid Originals, or Polaroid will be accepted. Allowed formats: SX-70, 600, I-Type, B & W itype film, Polaroid 689 & fujifp100, Spectra, Polaroid Go.
* Copies or digitally processed images are not permitted.

Submission Platform
Participants must submit their entries through the platform
The required details for submission:
* Name
* Surname
* Photos must be in JPG or JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 512 KB each.
Important Dates
* Submission deadline: February 17, 2025
* Artist selection announcement: February 21, 2025
Once selected, participants will receive a confirmation email specifying which photo has been chosen. The selected photo must then be submitted in 300 dpi resolution via:

E-mail Format
The subject line must include: "Name and Surname."
The email body must include:
* Author’s full name, address, email, and phone number
* Instagram handle (if applicable)
* Website page
By participating, you agree that your images may be used for the exhibition catalog, online and print publications, and promotional materials (social media, press realese with proper author credits).

Selling Work at the Exhibition
Selected exhibitors will have the opportunity to sell their original works or prints, books, or other Polaroid-related works at the exhibition. The gallery does not claim any rights or commissions on sales.
Article 5: Registration Methods and Costs
The registration fee is €120, applicable only to selected artists.

What the Registration Fee Includes:
* Administrative fees
* One (1) print of the selected photo
* Framing and installation of the selected work (40x60 cm panel)
* Assembly of works
* One (1) copy of the poster
All selected exhibitors will automatically be eligible for the Talent Prize 2025
During the exhibition will have a series of workshops, various events and interaction with the public.
